I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
I opened my devotional and saw the words "you can do nothing". Normally this would not be encouraging but when you look at the scripture and see the word Apart it becomes much more comforting. We are reminded that we are not alone. When we face days full of tasks, decisions and kids that need our help and attention, we are not alone. For some of us this is hard to grasp. However He designed us to be attached to Him, connected to His ever flowing love and grace. We have the source of life available to us and when we stay connected and turn to Him we are being changed each day into His likeness.
We want you to know that we are here for you as well. Your kids are finishing up a difficult school year and we wanted to encourage you to celebrate this milestone. Let them pick what you have for dinner, watch their favorite movie, or go get ice cream for a fun treat. However your family likes to celebrate!!
For us the end of the school year means individuals will be promoting to different grades and possibly new classrooms at HOPE. You will be hearing from the Special Needs Coordinator at your campus in the next few weeks to hear more information about this. In the meantime we need each of you to take a minute to fill out this sheet for us. This is the best way for us to support your child's needs.
We appreciate you completing this no later than JUNE 27th.
We hope that you have been able to join us for our weekend worship services. If not, be sure to join us this weekend by clicking here. Our Family Ministry team has created online weekend experiences for your children too! You can access these online weekend experiences by clicking here.
Another way to stay connected to both Hope and the Special Needs Ministry is to follow us on social media. You can find us on Facebook here and on Instagram here.
We love and miss your family! Please know that your family is being prayed for. If there is anything we can do to better love, support and encourage your family- email us here.
