Dear Kindway Family and Friends,

The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor ignited an overwhelming local, national, and worldwide response. Witnessing and learning of the lack of regard for their lives has forever changed us; as does the lack of regard for those affected by the violence across our nation. We join with those who are raising their voices to speak out against injustice and racism.

The work of Jesus is to redeem all. His mission reveals that God looks beyond what the individuals deserves and empowers each person to live in peace with the Creator and others. This idea is at the heart of the work being done through Kindway.

Kindway princples, values, and mission are foundational to how we work to form one community standing in the gap as advocates for the dignity, respect, and the welfare of ALL the people we serve. Our incarcerated men and women face tremendous obstacles and barriers. We live out our mission every day by “investing in the lives of those impacted by incarceration”.

It is our prayer that our nation and the world will discover what we at Kindway know to be true; that Christ empowers us to extend his peace, compassion, and redemption beyond any racial, cultural, and past criminal behavior. This is how He loves us.

Christine Money

Executive Director - Kindway
