Profiles in Diversity Journal Announces the
2020 Women Worth Watching® Award Winners

CLEVELAND, OH, June 8, 2020 Profiles in Diversity Journal is pleased to announce the 67 winners of the magazine'ss 19th annual Women Worth Watching® Awards. These outstanding leaders join more than 2,000 past Award recipients, (see www.womenworthwatching.com), including some past winners who have gone on to become CEOs of Fortune 500 companies: Mary Barra, chairman and CEO of General Motors; Lynne Doughtie, chairman and CEO of KPMG; Marillyn Hewson, chairman, president, and CEO of Lockheed Martin; Michele Buck, chairman, president, and CEO of Hershey’s; and Beth Mooney, recently retired chairman and CEO of Key Bank. Other awardees have led key business units, driven new markets, launched their own ventures, and helped develop the next generation of women leaders.

Says James Rector, Profiles in Diversity Journal publisher, “Our successful collaboration with hundreds of organizations over the past 19 years in identifying, selecting, and showcasing deserving candidates for the magazine’s annual Women Worth Watching Award is a testament to the synergistic and productive relationship we enjoy. And recognizing women leaders in this way further energizes and inspires these extraordinary women, as well as the many women who will become tomorrow’s leaders.”

Each Women Worth Watching Award recipient, whose abilities, commitment, and achievements will be featured in Profiles in Diversity Journal’s summer issue, will share experiences, opinions, and words of advice with readers, many of whom may become tomorrow’s Women Worth Watching.

The organizations that nominate candidates for this Award demonstrate C-suite support of women in leadership, and the inclusion of the Award winners in the magazine enhances the reputations of the organizations that employ, support, and empower these outstanding women. The 2020 Women Worth Watching edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal will be available to the public in August.
