Senior Academic Promotions 2020

 
Given the challenges of the past few months, it’s a pleasure to share that 133 of our faculty members will receive senior academic promotions this year, effective July 1. These promotions recognize the many contributions of our faculty across a wide range of academic activities, and they culminate an annual process that began over a year ago and which advanced through the careful consideration of many other faculty, staff and learners.

Primary Care Providers Get New Tool for Social Risk Factors During COVID-19


A care guidance tool developed by physicians at U of T, the Upstream Lab and the Centre for Effective Practice will give primary care providers a way to screen for and address social factors that affect health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Call for Applications

 

New Master's of Health Science in Laboratory Medicine


The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is launching a two year, full-time professional master’s graduate program.

The new Master of Health Science program will train clinical laboratory medicine scientists in one of two fields in laboratory medicine: pathologists’ assistant or clinical embryology.

The program will begin in September 2020, with an application deadline of June 22. View a program information document and a draft course timetable.

The Politics of Public Health: U of T Offers Novel Course in Diplomacy for Public Health Professionals

Diplomacy is an art and science and public health professionals increasingly need to understand both to create positive change in the world.

That’s the guiding principle behind Canada’s first course in global health diplomacy at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
