Join us for a Day at Camp Wood!

We have three options for youth and young adults to spend some time together at our beloved Camp Wood!
  • Saturday, July 11, 1-5 pm, Young Adults & College Students
  • Sunday, July 12, 9:30-12:30, Youth in grades 6-12 and their parents
  • Sunday, July 12, 2-5 pm, Youth in grades 6-12 and their parents
Approximate schedule for each event:
  • Check-in
  • Worship on High-Y
  • Activities (Hike, Arts & Crafts, Games) / Parent Discussion Time
  • Discussion
  • Check-out

Pre-registration is required (click here to register!). Face masks will be required of all participants and social distancing will be enforced.

The cost is approximately $10/person, but we understand the economy is hard right now and not everyone may be able to pay. When you register, there are options to pay $0, $10, or $20, depending on what you can afford.

Since we know parents will need to bring their children to this one-day event, they are invited to join us for Worship, then we will have a separate facilitated discussion time for all parents present. If you plan to attend as a parent, please register since we are limiting these events to a maximum of 45 participants.

Online Youth Elections

Youth elections are typically held during camp. Since we are unable to gather for camp this year, we are hosting an online election. If you are interested in serving on the Diocesan Youth Commission and/or as a Youth Delegate at Diocesan Convention, please complete this nomination form by Sunday, June 28, to be included on the ballot.

All current youth will be e-mailed their ballot on July 18. Log-in to UltraCamp to make sure we have your correct e-mail!

***Youth who wish to run for Youth Commission or Youth Delegate to Diocesan Convention need to submit a nomination online by Sunday, June 28 here: https://forms.gle/RWdp8vW2tpJwjFkC6 which includes a statement of "why" they wish to be a part of these groups and a photo.***

Youth Commission: Read more here: https://edokformation.wordpress.com/youth-commission/

Youth Delegate: The Youth program gets to elect four people to represent them at our annual diocesan convention in October. These youth get seat, voice, and vote, just like delegates from parishes. There is no cost to be a youth delegate, the diocese covers the convention registration fee for these elected representatives.

We will be electing 2 new representatives to the Youth Commission and 4 delegates and 2 alternates to serve as Youth Delegates at Diocesan Convention. Youth should expect to receive a ballot via e-mail in July. Login to UltraCamp to make sure we have a current youth e-mail address on file! A note about youth contact information in UltraCamp is available here.
