Stories about the food we don't eat...

Welcome to Issue 30

Here at the Fight Food Waste CRC, we set a target to have our initial research portfolio of 30 projects established by the end of 2020/2021. We're really pleased to announce that it looks like there will be 32 projects in total across our three program areas of REDUCE, TRANSFORM and ENGAGE with more projects to go through our approval process in July.

We have two fantastic achievements from participants to announce too - Peter Wadewitz from Peats Soil and Garden Supplies was awarded an OAM in the recent Queen's Birthday 2020 Honours List, and Joanne Howarth from Planet Protector Packaging took out the international Cartiers Women's Initiative for the South Asia and Oceania region. We are honoured to have such amazing people involved with the Fight Food Waste CRC!
