June Update from AAA Play

June has been another challenging month in Victoria, but the good news is that programs are starting to come back! Sports are all extremely busy working on return to play plans and strategies in line with the ever-changing environment and government restrictions, and we can't wait to get back out on the field. For the most up to date restrictions and rules, click here.

If you are interested in what the return to play might look like for you, your club or your organisation, Sport Australia have released a toolkit. See more information here

In the meantime, we have loved learning more about Autism inclusion in sport, recreation and physical education during the Special Olympics Australia webinar series, and are still keeping active at home with heaps of online activity resources here

Even with restrictions there is heaps to keep us active and engaged, so read on to find out what we've been up to over June.

In the Spotlight

Looking forward: Tennis is back!

Tennis is not only one of the most popular and inclusive sports in Australia, it is also one of the easiest sports to practice physical distancing while playing. Now, tennis courts across Victoria are opening up. Even better, heaps of tennis clubs across Victoria have resumed their inclusive programming, which means we can get back out on the court. Ace.

Click here for Tennis Victoria's return to tennis toolkit, to see how they are safely returning to the court.

So dust off your racquet, and click here for your nearest program!
