EAT

Why not have a Monday breakfast picnic? Get take out from the world famous (almost!) Palace Diner and head to a nearby park or beach to enjoy. The Deluxe sandwich, with its sausage, egg, jalapeno, cheddar and mayo combo and a side of super crisp/creamy Palace potatoes is perfect picnic fare -- and an excellent way to kick off the week. Palace is open every day, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DRINK

As we all ease back into dining and imbibing in public we can heartily endorse the set up at East Ender (and their neighbors Duckfat, Eventide and The Honey Paw). Tables are out in the street, making social distancing space easy to come by, and Duckfat and East Ender even have a tent to help you stay out of the sun/rain. With an East Ender Gin Blossom in hand the world feels a little more normal.

P.S. Remember your mask, and tip generously.
