The deadline to apply for the next cohort of the BIA Leadership Fund is just one month away!
The BIA Leadership Fund provides emerging leaders in Toronto's BIA movement with full tuition to Certificate in Local Economic Development (LED) Program offered on-line through the Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University. BIA Leaders also receive support through mentoring and networking opportunities.
Application Deadline: Friday, July 17th, 2020, 4:30 p.m.
Certificate in Local Economic Development
The Chang School's Certificate in Local Economic Development will successfully prepare graduates in the workforce with the knowledge and competence to address the current and emerging area of LED.
This online program consists of four core courses:
Local Economic Development Fundamentals (CPLE 795): Next offered Fall 2020
Economic Development and Business Improvement (CPLE 995): Next offered Winter 2021
LED Applied Research Project (CVUP 155): Offered Spring 2021
Capstone Project in LED (CVUP 160): Offered Fall 2021 (Starts July 2021)
As a condition of the BIA Leadership Fund, the CVUP 160 capstone paper must relate to BIA work in the City of Toronto.
