The BOC Program Moves Online

While the Coronavirus has made things a bit more difficult, this July we are excited to announce we will offer our first remote, live BOC course. The twenty students that will be participating in the course will be City of Austin employees ranging from a number of different departments, including Parks and Recreation, Building Services, Austin Public Library, and Austin Water . This training is being offered at no cost through the Bloomberg Philanthropies American Cities Climate Challenge. Austin is one of the 25 winning cities in the Climate Challenge, which is helping cities set and surpass ambitious climate goals by ramping up action in the two highest-emitting sectors in cities: transportation and buildings.

If you are interested in participating in the training program in Texas or Oklahoma please

Oklahoma CPACE Workshop

Develop the Oklahoma Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Program

Commercial property assessed clean energy, or “C-PACE” financing is a form of long-term, non-recourse debt that facilitates private financing for energy- and resiliency-related upgrades to non-residential properties. C-PACE financing drives private sector investment in local communities, creates energy efficiencies and energy jobs, helps local governments meet efficiency and clean energy standards, and lowers the cost of energy in Oklahoma. On May 20th, the governor of Oklahoma approved Senate Bill 1592, which allows counties across Oklahoma to establish a C-PACE financing program.
