During lockdown, breadmaking classes have moved online. I've been running one-to-one sessions on many different topics from sourdough to shaping to the Rofco Oven. These have been so successful that they will continue.
In person classes are held in my domestic kitchen which is approved by the Environmental Health Department. I am hoping to restart classes in person in September. If you have a breadmaking voucher it is now valid until 31 March 2021. Please plan on taking a class before 31 March 2021.
I am also thinking of holding some Bread in the Garden sessions (weather dependent) with no need to enter the house. Classes will be held for two people only at a date and time to suit - weekday or weekend. Classes will start in July. There is a separate toilet in another building for use.
A full risk assessment will take place before any in-person courses start and guidance followed.
Choose your option
There are three possible options:
You can:
- Take some one-to-one online classes instead of an in-person course. (Suitable for 2 people too) Check out some of the comments on the one to one classes below
- Opt for breadmaking in the garden
- Wait to book your class between Autumn 2020 and 31 March 2021
To help me plan, please send me a quick email with your preferred option. You can of course change your mind at any point.
