At all times, we stand ready to care for you and your family.

Since mid-May, HSHS St. Francis Hospital has resumed elective surgeries and other procedures following the guidance of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Visitor guidelines have been updated due to a decline in COVID-19 numbers in central Illinois. Visitors will still be required to wear a mask at all times while in the hospital and should expect to be screened. Click here to read our new visitor guidelines.

As always, your health and safety are our top priority. We will continue to review and modify visitor policies as the COVID-19 situation evolves and infection prevention guidance from federal and state public health agencies is updated.

You are safe with us. Don't delay your care.

It is critical that you don’t delay your care. According to a new Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) Health Tracking Poll, nearly half (48%) of Americans say someone in their family has skipped or delayed getting some type of medical care in the past three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes 11% who say the person’s condition worsened due to the missed care.

Jennifer wasn’t sure she should go to the hospital.
“Without HSHS, I would have died."

You can trust that you are safe in our care. If you need surgery or it’s an emergency, don’t delay your care. Jennifer almost did, but she is thankful she went to the hospital. Watch her amazing story.
