Emotions have looked differently over the last few months.  We have probably felt "off," found ourselves responding to situations differently and it has been difficult.  The kids and teens around you are experiencing the same thing, but they have even less words to talk about it.
Click above to register to join us next week as we talk about a few ways that emotions present in kids, teens and all of us.

Discussions can be helpful.
We began our Web-About-It Wednesday series to create a place for information, discussion and support.

We may not realize how much we need to talk about something.  There is a lot going on in everyone's daily life and it is typically easy to forget to talk about something or just put it off until later.

Acknowledgement matters.  Try and practice acknowledging your feelings to yourself.  Think it, write it, say it.  Remind your self they are valid but temporary feelings and put supports in place to help yourself.

What do you want to talk about?  We are choosing topics based on what we are hearing, we want to hear from you.  Please e-mail us at info@southwesteap.com with subject line "Topic Suggestions" any thoughts or suggestions on what you would like to hear.

You can find more information, courses and articles if you visit southwesteap.com and log in with code "sweap." You also have free, confidential counseling available through your EAP benefit.  Call or e-mail for questions or to set an appointment at 501-663-1797 or info@southwesteap.com
