Spring Music Recital
Here's another fantastic Virtual Recital from our Music students who have been working hard to create some tremendous performances for you. Click on the image above to watch 15 minutes of fabulous music.

There will be a final 'Virtual Music Recital' in the last week of term. Please send in your recordings to Mr Turner (jturner@woodbridgeschool.org.uk), send them as a message in itslearning or upload them to Microsoft Teams.

Please ensure all recordings are submitted by Monday 29th June.

Reminders for getting the best quality recordings:
- ensure your instrument is in tune
- ensure your instrument is not too close to the device you’re recording on
- leave a few seconds of silence at the beginning and the end
- try to limit background noise
- if you are sending a video, please record in landscape rather than portrait
Shops, cycles and School

There's a new sort of Springwatch happening on Thoroughfare… the long-anticipated opening of doors rather than buds or chrysalises… the chatter of conversation rather than the tweet of chicks or the buzzing of bees.
On Tuesday I had a lovely time in Browsers, catching up with Martin and filling my pannier with delights.  This is the sort of shopping I have missed. And over the road whom should I bump into (oh dear – there's an idiom we'll have to reconsider) inside Mountain Warehouse than 'Wiggins' Garvie (cycle cap in place).
We should both probably have been training.
But before the big day one has to rest.  A lot at my age.
It's called tapering. It's also called fear.

Now, the latest news is that Mr G and I will try to take some pics 'en route' (dans le peloton) on Saturday (yikes… tomorrow) and team Woodbridge will magically make them appear on the School feeds (FB: Woodbridge School; Instagram: @Woodbridge_schl; and Twitter: @woodbridgesch).  You'll be able to feel our pain in real time. Hurrah!  And then, in sympathy (admiration?), and if you haven't already (thank you, thank you, thank you!) you will hit the links… double Hurrah! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/andy-garvie4 Or https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/michael-streat9 Or both!

And then NEXT week there is more excitement (I know… like the buses) as Senior School begins to open its doors again, too. Just a little… but so, so welcome. We really hope that lots of you will be able to take up the invitation. We know it's not everyone all together, but it's some of us together and that's exciting enough.  After all, apparently one should start with a light meal after a long fast, not the full seven courses with chocolates at the end.

Ahh, chocolates. I need some for tomorrow.
Just a couple more weeks of Mr Goddard's training schedules to come before you can all turn your attention to planning your first race... Fingers crossed, and shoes on!
