Accordion "Book" with Closed Gate Jacket
This week, we're sharing a "pandemic project" that takes on the appearance of a book, but is actually a long accordion fold with a Closed Gate jacket wrapped around it. This exciting design by Reeny Hua and Rachel MacKinnon for Illingworth Kerr Gallery at Alberta University of the Arts was produced by the team at Kallen Printing Inc. in Calgary. Four large sections of accordion folded pages are tipped together to form an 87-inch long accordion fold that showcases the work of the Emerging Art Writers Program. A creative gate cover completes the piece. It's a must-see!
