Rescuing nature's bounty for the benefit of our community

Our upcoming harvests!

*** Important safety note about our harvest program ***
As we begin to glean together again, it is required that all gleaners use gloves, masks, and maintain 6 ft. of distance from each other during harvests. This means we will be limiting the number of gleaners able to attend certain harvests where the recommended physical distance is not possible. This also means we are having to discourage carpooling during this time. Please carefully read all instructions when signing up for a harvest, and for those folks that are a part of higher-risk populations, please consider sitting these harvests out for a while- we'd rather see you healthy and safe than sooner and sick!

See all of our upcoming harvests listed below, and join us by signing up through the links!

Donate to GleanSLO and support local food rescue!
Please keep in mind that our first priority is harvesting for the Food Bank and its recipients. Each farm/site is different and will have varying preferences as to what we do with blemished fruits and vegetables. Please bring a reusable bag in the event that there is produce for volunteers to take home. Hope to see you out there!

GleanSLO's volunteers rescued over 270,000 lbs of fresh, local produce in 2017 alone, and over 1 Million pounds since our beginning in 2010!
Through the act of harvesting and sharing food, we connect and nourish our community to build stronger relationships and a deeper appreciation for our food.
