Tarah Holland Named Technology Champions Lead

Tarah Holland, a digital content strategist with Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT), was recently named lead of the Technology Champions group.

"For the past year, I've enjoyed being a part of Technology Champions and getting to know this amazing group of colleagues," she said. "It's an exciting time for technology in higher education. I look forward to working alongside each Champion to support and increase awareness of technology tools, services and initiatives at Elon."

As a Creative Services team member, Tarah develops content strategies for TLT, Information Technology (IT) and a host of other departments and programs across campus. Her expertise includes the integration of content and user experience (UX) design strategies into the development of informative, user-intuitive and accessible websites, new applications, instructional modules, digital signs, videos and more, in addition to marketing, event planning and other knowledge.

Tarah came to Elon in 2016. Prior joining TLT, she served as assistant director of graduate admissions, recruiting for the School of Communications and School of Education. Tarah has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Arts in Interactive Media from Elon. Tarah has worked in both public and private sectors, primarily in newspaper and tourism industries.
