With seemingly endless turmoil around us, isn’t it wonderful that we can still turn to our precious UUCJ community to sustain and support us? Several weeks ago, the Finance Committee asked UUCJ members to consider increasing their 2020 pledges to make up for a $20,000 shortfall. To date we have received increased pledges or additional donations for a total of $11,538. Thank you for your generous gifts!  If you haven’t yet considered increasing your pledge, please do so now. Our pledges will also help us attract a minister for next year.

You may increase your pledge by calling the church office at (904) 725-8133 and leaving a message for Virginia or emailing her at admin@uucj.org.  For a one-time gift click on the button below to donate on our website, call Virginia to make a credit card payment over the phone, or send a check to UUCJ at the address below:

7405 Arlington Expressway
Jacksonville, FL 32211

Thank you for your continued generosity during this time.

Give Today

Mark your calendars!  On Sunday, June 28, our worship service will begin at 10:00 a.m. (instead of our usual 11:00).  The Unitarian Universalist Association will be streaming the closing church service for General Assembly, and UU’s all over the country will be watching.  You can join in and watch the service by clicking on this link: https://bit.ly/uuga2020

For those of you who have never attended a General Assembly, this service is always beautiful and inspiring, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to share it virtually.

Our Zoom virtual coffee hour, hosted by Carlos Fraticelli, will begin a 12:00 (noon), and all are invited to attend.  It’s a chance to talk with each other in small groups—and sometimes you might even meet someone you didn’t previously know!  Log on using this Zoom link: https://bit.ly/coffeehour628

On June 28, UUCJ has substituted the UU General Assembly Sunday Service that will start at 10:00 am and maybe as long as one and a half hours.

Social Hour will be from 12 noon to 1:15 pm.  Carlos will be hosting the Zoom session, and he will bring the meeting up at 11:50 am so attendees can start joining at that time.
