At our very own Lumber & Mill, the city is preparing for a surge of mail-in ballots as people avoid traditional polling places because of social distancing. And election officials there are ready to help — behind plexiglass or curbside — for people wishing to vote early in person.

Small businesses are facing an unprecedented economic disruption due to the Coronavirus outbreak. In addition to traditional SBA funding programs, the CARES Act established several new temporary programs to address the COVID-19 outbreak.

GET TESTED
If you have been at a protest, vigil, neighborhood clean-up, or other events with lots of people 5 days ago or more, get tested for COVID-19 even if you do not feel sick. If the test is negative and you are worried you might have been exposed, get another test 12-14 days after the event, even if you do not feel sick.
