West Alameda Business Association members : you are invited to attend the WABA Board of Directors meeting, Wednesday, June 24th, 8:30am, via Zoom.
Our guest will be Captain McMullen, Alameda Police Department. As Webster Street and the west end businesses begin the process to reopen we want to be prepared. As we all know there have been many discussions in Alameda and actually around the nation on policing and community needs. And as you know we've had instances on Webster Street that warrants a good discussion.
The purpose of WABA is to create an environment that is safe, clean and inviting to be a destination for our community. That often takes measures well beyond street maintenance.
