International Week of the African Child.

As we celebrate the children and mothers of Africa we also highlight the challenges faced by Mothers in Kibera.

"Covid-19 has tested the nerves of mothers especially in informal settlements. They have undergone insurmountable challenges in Kibera and have survived by remaining resilient, purpose driven, steadfast and action oriented for their families. "

Thank for your wonderful response to our last Update.
Your generosity wth donations, offers of assistance and general messages of love and support mean so much to everyone.

Since lockdown the team at the WkW centre have never stopped working.  They are very scared they are going to catch COVID - 19 themselves but feel have have no choice but to keep supporting and to never abandon their Kibera families.
"We at the Centre are very grateful for all that you have done to alleviate the suffering of these families."
