Star Council changes:

Membership quotas are now only 5% of the council's size. It used to be 7%. (The minimum quota is 3, and the maximum quota is 20.)
Insurance quotas have been eliminated. Attending two Fraternal Benefits seminars will satisfy the insurance requirement. There is no attendee minimum. The General Insurance Agent must report your council's attendance to Supreme.
Mandatory programs have been eliminated, and more Featured Programs have been added. Checkout the Resources further below in this email.

State Deputy Award changes:

End of year grading forms have been eliminated.
Membership, Insurance, and Safe Environment compliance have been added.

Eligibility Requirement: To be eligible to earn the Award, the council must add 1 new member by April 5.

Forms Due:

Form 185 (Report of Officers). Due June 30. To update the State Directory, also send a copy to lakc@bellsouth.net.
Form 365 (Report of Directors). Due August 1. Include email addresses on the form. Email addresses are required for the Grand Knight, Program Director, Family Director, and Community Director so they can receive the registration information for Safe Environment training.
Semi-Annual Audit (Form 1295). Due August 15. If a council fails to submit two consecutive audits, Supreme may revoke the $5,000 bond that protects councils from misconduct by Financial Secretaries and Treasurers.
Family of the Month (Form 10668). Due the 15th day of each month.
