Reopening Task Force Update
|
|
Comprised of our clergy, staff, vestry, and parishioners, the reopening task force reconvened last week to continue planning for a gradual reopening of Saint David's. At this time we are developing a reopening plan following the federal, local, and EDOW guidelines and Covenant for Regathering in Worship.
To help guide the team in making timely and well thought decisions, members have been divided into 7 focus areas:
- Strategy
- Worship
- Music
- Logistics
- Youth and Family
- Procurement
- Communications
|
The task force hopes to have a more definitive action plan and tentative timeline in place very soon. In the meantime, our current thinking in reopening is that during the summer and early fall all activities would take place outside of the church facilities and online worship will be available indefinitely.
Please know that we welcome and encourage your feedback! As we continue to develop our plan you can reach out to our Rector, The Rev. Kristen L. Hawley, or our Parish Administrator, Joel Wood, with any of your thoughts, ideas, or questions.
Thank you for your support and prayers as we work toward a future reopening. Blessings to you and those close to your hearts.
