Important News from Allen

Dear friends, 

It is with mixed emotions and a heavy heart that I write to you. I would like to have shared this news with you in person but due to being in lockdown that is not possible at this time.

You may be aware that I have specifically been praying since May last year as to where God might be leading myself and the boys as we move forward without Karen. I wanted to pray, reflect and see how things progressed before making any decisions. Both my fiancé Leah and myself have had a clear sense of direction from God that we are being called to London where our children can benefit from practical and emotional support at this time. Ultimately, our desire is to be obedient to wherever God is calling.

This week I was offered the position of vicar at St Saviours Sunbury and after much prayer I have now accepted. I have a great sense of peace that this is where God is guiding me. 

Nevertheless, It is with great sadness and tears that we will be leaving St Matt’s church and Tipton. In sharing our lives through joy and pain a special bond has formed between us all. Thank you for your love and support and for just being there for me and the boys. We know that God is faithful and has a plan and purpose in this for us all.
