Our plan is to use this same link each week, for the coming weeks, unless we need to change things for security reasons.
If you have access to a bible, whether it be a physical one, or one on your mobile device, do have it with you, as we will follow the text together.
The reading is Ruth Chapter 3
Opening hymn – STF343 All My Days (Beautiful Saviour)
Closing hymn/song – Break every chain
If you missed last weeks zoom service, Andy has recorded a video on his thoughts on the reading and that can be watched on YouTube HERE.
Divine Focus is also meeting this week 4.30 - 5.30pm on 21st June. All are welcome to join in. The zoom links below:
As usual, if you cannot join in our zoom services, there is a list on the circuit website with more "worship at home resources" found HERE.
Message from John Bailey (written on Monday)
"It was good to see some of you on Zoom yesterday. Sadly I missed the chat at the end because of computer problems – but all is now restored.
The Prayer and Care material attached HERE links into what we studied together yesterday.
My prayers for you all continue.
John"
Planet Food

You can join in by visiting Southlands 11am-2pm Thursdays. Please bring your own bag and wear a mask. Donations of at least £1 requested per bag of food taken.

The Artists are Back
We hope that the artists will start working in their studios at Southlands again from this Monday. Risk assessments have been filled in and cleaning and social distance measures have been put in place.
Holiday club
There will be a Zoom meeting On Thursday 25th June, in the evening, for anyone interested in delivering some form of circuit holiday club virtually this summer. The materials are pre-prepared by a team from around the District, and based on the WonderZone materials from Scripture Union. Please get in touch with Amy (amy.shephard@methodistyouth.org.uk or 07708559419) if you would like more information or the Zoom link for the meeting.
Poppleton Quiz
We were aware at Poppleton that charities were missing out on their funds during this lockdown, and we wanted to be able to raise something for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Carecent and Dementia Forward, all of them Yorkshire charities. Please contact Frances Priestnall (davidpriestnall@hotmail.com) for the quiz.
Praying for our Circuit
The church on the Circuit Prayer Rota for 21st June is Stillingfleet. Let us thank God for the work of God in that place, and pray for the church as they consider how best to respond to God's call in this time.
Redeeming God,
Help us to know when to wait, and when to act,
What you are going to do, and what you ask us to do,
Give us wisdom to know what and when,
To trust you for why and how,
Help us to listen to you in both the dark night and the bright day,
And to do what you ask of us.
Amen
If there is anything you would like included in these weekly emails, please send them to me by Friday evening.
