Dear Course Participants,

Thank you very much for your active participation in the Ethics Education for Children: A Transformative Pedagogy for Learning to Live Together course and the enriching experiences you have also offered to us during the past two weeks. It has been a pleasure to read your reflections and build on them with our feedback.

If you haven't had an opportunity please do make a final run through the course to read the feedback from facilitators but also the wonderful reflections that other participants have shared. While the course is now closed the resources and forum discussions will be available for you to go through at least til end of July, 2020.

We hope that this course brought you new learnings, inspiration, perspectives and resources that in turn will help you to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in your contexts. As we resume schools and yet continue to be challenged by the pandemic, your work as educators is crucial to make this world a better place. We should not just settle for a "new normal" that falls into our hands, but we should help shape this new normal to be one that affirms our commitments to Learn to Live Together with children and young people also contributing as active partners.

We would like to share with you a few follow-up points:

Certificates - Those who have completed the required tasks and sharing for each session by the closure of the course will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion from Arigatou International. We require that your contributions to the forum discussions are also substantive to be considered acceptable in terms of course requirements. If you do not receive a certificate by next week and think you are eligible having met the requirements, then you can write to us at geneva@arigatouinternational.org

Celebration Call - We would like to invite you to an informal live call via zoom for any of you who would like to join in and connect with each other and share. We saw how you were engaging with each other during the course and developing a community of practitioners. We hope that a zoom call on Wednesday 24th June at 1500hrs CET / 1300 hrs GMT will strengthen our learning community.

Consultations - Some of you have already confirmed a consultation time with Arigatou International staff to discuss how you would like to put your learnings into practice and to discuss possible collaborations and partnerships.
