Who is who in our and the wider LLS zoo

For staff unsure where they sit in the structure it has just been updated and is accurate as of today. Click here to view it. A regional map detailing the Chair, General Manager and Communications Officer for all 11 regions has also been updated and is now available. Click here to view it. 

Integrated kangaroo management resource now available 

Fiona and others including former employee Russell Grant have done some great work in developing a Options for integrated kangaroo management in the Western region resource. This four-page document is now available on the LLS website while hard copies are also being organised. Click here to view the document.

P-Card and ICT training reminders
  • As per recent communication on emails and Workplace, ICT training must be undertaken by 30 June. Click here to be taken to the training modules. 
  • You should have received an email from Citibank regarding changes to our P-Cards (check your junk folder if you didnt receive it). New P-Card's need to be ordered before 30 June. Once you have accessed your Citibank account, change the Department to DRNSW (top right of the page) and request your new card. If you have any queries contact CS Service Centre by calling (02) 6363 7676 (option 2).

Leave

Staff are reminded to ensure leave requests are entered in MyHQ and approval is received prior to taking leave. 
  • Jacinta Cain is on leave until 13 July
  • Silvana is on leave from Wednesday until 15 July
  • Hully is on leave from Wednesday until 15 July
  • Ryan is on leave from Wednesday until 15 July
  • Craig is on leave on Thursday
  • Grant is on leave until 8 July
  • Courtney is on extended leave
  • Mouldsie is on extended leave 
  • Kate is on extended leave
  • Kerry is on extended leave
  • Jenny is on extended leave

Movements of the Ops Team

Erlina Compton


Erlina will be in meetings on Monday. Erlina's priorities for the week include a meeting with EES on kangaroo management policy, Fencing Northern Riverbanks project meetings, a virtual Board meeting on Wednesday and a virtual SET meeting on Thursday. 

Michelle Johnson

Michelle will be busy with the EOFY and the budget for the Fencing Northern Riverbanks project.

Andrew Hull

Hully will be working on the WAP2025 revision actions with NSW DPI, planned activities for round two of the Western Division Shires funding, Operations Plan and EOFY actions. Hully will be on leave from 1 July. 

Ben Slingsby 

Ben will be in meetings on Monday and the office most of the week. Ben will be working to ensure IRIS is up to date and cracking on with the projects which include Willandra Lakes, aquatic and pathways. Ben will also be working to define the key outputs and timeline for the 20/21 RALF plan. 


Gemma Turnbull

Gemma will be in meetings for most of Monday and has a number of other priorities/meetings on for the remainder of the week including tidying up EOFY, a goat data collation and tracking project team meeting (Tuesday), a producer demonstration site discussion with the South Australian Livestock Research Council working group (Wednesday), a PGS review meeting (Thursday) and on Friday will be interviewing for the SLSO Agriculture role. 

Mitch Plumbe

Mitch will be in meetings on Monday. Over the course of the week he will be finalising EOFY, finalising and submitting the Environmental Trust annual progress report, has a PDS discussion with the South Australian Livestock Research Council working group on Wednesday and the SLSO Agricutlure role on Friday. 

Tim Wall

Tim will be in meetings on Monday and the office the rest of the week. Tim's priorities include working on the 1080 regulations for Ann Farr (LLS), catching up with wild dog coordinator Bruce Duncan and undertaking some planning for the collaring project. 

Tanya Cooper

Tanya will be in meetings on Monday, EES compliance 12.8 request issues on Tuesday and Wednesday, having general catch ups with team during the week as well as carrying out builder manager duties.
