Breaking up with Bad Habits!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had an opportunity to celebrate Juneteenth! I was able to spend time with family + friends to celebrate this important moment in Black history! Peep the dress straight from Ghana 🇬🇭!

Last week, I shared the changes that have helped me attain personal and professional success. One key element of creating lasting change is breaking destructive habits and beliefs that you've adopted along the way.  We're always told that habits are hard to break! What if there are ways you can hack your mind and belief system to make it easier to break up with bad habits/choices and make it easier to stick with the habits you want to adopt? How you speak to yourself MATTERS! Being mindful and intentional about the words you use to describe the things you want to leave behind and carry forward will determine how easy it is for you to progress on your journey. Your reality is simply a reflection of your thoughts, beliefs, and the actions you take as a result of them.  If you believe you are capable of change, you'll change. If you keep telling yourself change is impossible, you'll be right about that too. 

Here's to a new chapter of only speaking to ourselves in the best way! It's time to dream big and believe even bigger! No one is stopping you from the life and happiness you desire. The universe wants you to win!
