Bateson’s thinking is beautiful, complex, and generative. This public video talk about warm data she gave for an AI talk in California is wonderful, and relevant to social scientists and AI folks
It sounds like she has a new book coming about this topic.
And lastly, I am likely to buy Bateson’s film about her father, Gregory Bateson: the philosopher, anthropologist, system thinker, and contributor to the field of cognitive science, cybernetics, and much more.
