Last Sunday, 14th June, marked three years since the Grenfell Tower fire. Over the weekend we joined friends and neighbours in North Kensington in the Go Green for Grenfell campaign and covered our programme spaces in North Kensington in green light.

As a symbol of solidarity, remembrance and reflection we unveiled a new section of the Grenfell Memorial Community Mosaic in partnership with Al-Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre.

Artists' Portfolio Workshop

Due to popular demand we're running a second round of the Artists' Portfolio Workshop. Artists on the reserve list have been offered places on the collective and one-to-one sessions with ACAVA's Associate Curator, Carolina Lio.

Discretionary funds announced
by local authorities

A number of London's local authorities have announced discretionary funds for organisations that have lost income due to COVID-19 but didn't qualify for Small Business, Retail, Leisure or Hospitality Grant Funds. Application windows are very narrow so please visit this page on our website for more information, and apply as soon as possible.

Jerwood FVU Awards 2022

Jerwood Arts and Film and Video Umbrella invite early career artists to submit proposals for ambitious new works in any form of the moving image.

Harlow Sculpture Town interactive map

Harlow is home to a growing collection of over 100 public artworks and a dedicated visual arts space in the town centre. Due to recent grant funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the town is now developing the project Access Harlow Sculpture Town, which aims to engage people of all ages with the town's unique sculptural heritage. As part of the project they have developed an online interactive map of all the public artworks, intertwined with history from the various locations where the pieces exist. News from our artists

Hoagy Houghton from ACAVA Lombard Road Studios has launched the online exhibition 'Way The Ball Bounces', featuring paintings exploring football as a metaphor for life and our perceptions of winning and losing. From 12th June to 12th July 20% from sales in the show will go towards Football Beyond Borders, a UK based charity using football to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
