Not so brilliant Big Tech
In late May, the Guardian revealed that
Microsoft had fired dozens of journalists from the MSN news service
and replaced them with what the newspaper described as "artificial intelligence software". A week later, Microsoft's robot journalist
ran a story about a musician's personal reflections on racism and used an image of a different musician

An anti-vaccine and conspiracy website was banned by Facebook for using content farms to manipulate its popularity on the platform. Politifact reports that the website
circumvented the ban by rebranding as a pro-Trump news outlet

was suspended by Twitter after 12 hours of copy/pasting Donald Trump's tweets
