Sunday 21st June 2020

News

We would like to acknowledge the very many positive male role models we have in the church and say 'Happy Fathers Day' to them. We are grateful that we all share a Good Good father In God.

This Sunday's service can be located via our Facebook, Instagram and through our youtube channel.
You can like and follow our church here at the links below.
We will gather at 10.30 am, there will be something for the children and our on line will follow.

Finally, if you find yourself in need or would simply like to talk with one of the leaders at Newlife church please do not stay quiet but let us know: either contact your home group leader or contact office@newlifechurchrugby.com.

"Songs of Deliverance" is a beautiful time of online worship as part of our Sunday Service. This starts on the above links at around 10.30 am.
Each week a member of NLC will choose three songs that are important to them. They will introduce the songs, giving the reason for their importance and we will have an opportunity to sing these songs after their introduction albeit from our own homes.
Please record your song choices and send them into nathanjones@newliferugby.com
If you have any queries about this let us know at office@newlifechurchrugby.com
It would be great to have some more selections.

To continue the giving of tithes and offerings, to help the church continue to function, our church account details are sort code: 30-97-17 and account 44966360. Thank you.

Return to the Church building:
We are awaiting the next announcement from the Government, concerning the re-opening of church buildings. We are not yet aware of the size of 'bubbles' that may or may not be suggested.
We are keen to meet together, as soon as it is practical to do so.
Pray as a church for wisdom for the Government and for the church leadership in terms of how best to implement the direction given.
For now, we continue to use our on line platform to share the worship and message each week. It is encouraging to hear peoples positive feedback regarding our Sunday service, and it is wonderful to have the different contributions, so for now keep them coming.

PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE:
Lowenna continues to remain in hospital in Bristol.
The updates have been over the last week, that the swelling in the ventricles at her brain stem, has reduced. Lowenna's care has now been handed over to the rehabilitation team, and the focus now will be on her recovery and will include; physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Lowenna is communicating through noises and using her eyes and facial expressions.
We are so grateful to hear the miracle of God's healing for Lowenna thus far, we continue to pray for her recovery, wisdom for the medical staff and peace and protection for Lowenna's wider family.

Andy (Lowenna 's Dad's Uncle) has set up a funding page for the family. The purpose of this would be to support the family provide for Lowenna's future care. Please see the link below if you would like to contribute.

We have the next couple of weeks sorted but there will be space after that!
