Information for Sunday

Good Morning!
It has been a long three months, and I know many people feel like we're still not on the safe side of this pandemic, but there is good news for us to celebrate.  Illinois is on track to move to phase 4 of the re-opening plan on June 26th, which means groups of 50 or fewer are safe to meet, assuming safe social distancing, sanitizing, and mask wearing are possible.  That means we are able to worship in church again on the 28th of June.

In advance of that meeting, we will be holding an outdoor service this Sunday, June 21st, at 10:00am in the north yard of the church.  We will have sun shades set up, so that no one has to sit in the blazing sun, and will have a wash station set up, with soap and water, and disinfecting wipes.  If you wish to attend, please plan to bring a face mask and your own bag chair.  If you don't have a bag chair, we will have some sanitized metal folding chairs available.  Additionally, you should plan to bring a phone or tablet on which you can access the online bulletin.  We will not have paper bulletins available.  Same household families can sit together, but otherwise please plan to maintain a six foot gap between your family and the next, in every direction.  We will need to skip singing entirely, but will have recorded music in the place of hymns.

Coffee hour will be outside, as usual.  If you are staying for coffee hour, please bring your own coffee and snacks.

Watch your emails next week for updated info regarding resuming services inside the church building, including our new rules for attendance.

We look forward to seeing anyone who feels comfortable.  If you feel safer enjoying service at home via the bulletin blog, we will continue to have that available every Sunday for at least the next year.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email Lynnly or reply to this email.
If you need to make your pledge payments online, you can access our online giving portal here.
