We got the GREEN LIGHT to go!
Ethnos360 has given us the green light to head down to Mexico. That means we have enough promised support and that all of our paperwork is in.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has committed to support us so far, whether through prayer or finances! We are incredibly grateful for each one of you... and we praise God for providing for us through you.

Night for the Nations at Reality 6/28 6:30pm
Our sending church, Reality Ventura, is hosting a special event where we have the opportunity to explain more about what we're endeavoring to do in Mexico.
We will share, answer questions, worship and pray together. Please come join us if you are in the Ventura area.
When: Sunday, June 28, 6:30-8:00pm
Where: Reality Ventura 1954 Goodyear Ave. Ventura, CA 93003
At this time no childcare will be provided (but your kids are welcome to come with you).
We hope to see you there!

Next Stop: Chihuahua, Mexico
July 7th we will be driving from Ventura, CA to El Paso, TX, where we'll get our visas and cross the border into Juarez, then drive 4 hours south to Chihuahua City, in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
We will live in the city of Chihuahua for at least 1 year. Our primary focus while there is to:
1) Finish Spanish to high fluency
2) Form a team
3) Choose a people group

Our House in Ventura
We're renting out our house in Ventura while we're gone. It will help support us over the years and provide a possible place for us to come back to in the future. We just finalized a new tenant today, which we are so very thankful for.
We worked super hard to get it ready to show to potential renters. It's amazing how much stuff we still had even after reducing our belongings several times over the past few years. We feel much lighter and freer now that we have really gotten rid of so many things. We still have a bit to go.
By wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with every precious and beautiful treasure. - Proverbs 24:3-4

Los Niños
Isei finished 7th grade and Ayin finished 1st grade at the end of May. So we have enjoyed a nice of California summer before leaving.
We recently went up to Monterey Bay to visit Rebecca's sister and brother-in-law and their 7 month old son, Micah. It was super fun cousin time.
