The City of Chippewa Falls and the Redevelopment Authority announced a new REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY COVID‐19 EMERGENCY SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF PROGRAM for businesses in the city limits of Chippewa Falls
This grant program is designed to offset the costs of commercial property mortgages, loans, and leases following the March 17, 2020 "Safer at Home" order. This program can offer eligible businesses up to 60 days, up to a maximum of $2,500 for commercial rent, mortgage, or lease payments that became due after March 17, 2020. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020.
Who is Eligible:
- Small businesses with 15 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees prior to the Safer at Home Order
- Must be located in a brick and mortar storefront as a major tenant or owner, within the City of Chippewa Falls
- Must have been in a total state of closure or unable to operate a major facet of their business following the "Safer at Home" order from March 17, 2020.

WEDC We’re All In grant initiative will provide $2,500 grants to 30,000 small businesses. It is designed to help small businesses with the costs of business interruption or for health and safety improvements, wages and salaries, rent, mortgages, and inventory. Application Deadline is June 23.
