Hi Paprika! community,
It’s your new Fall 2020 (Volume 6!!!) coordinating editors here with an invitation to participate in an open, rolling call for submissions for an expansion of our bulletin format.
We are launching Paprika? as a new platform—a living repository rapidly holding space for the vital ephemera emerging in and around the expanding and shifting currents of COVID-19, the Black Lives Matter movement, and our community’s experience. While the pandemic caused a widespread interruption of our routines and larger social systems, the long-overdue resurgence of the civil rights movement has brought clarity to the trajectory of the work we face ahead.
Paprika? amplifies a constellation of new content-forms generated by and for the community—academic only when necessary and available to broader audiences on a new dedicated Paprika? Bulletin website and weekly newsletter that serve as an ad hoc house to convene on discontinuity, precarity and justice.
