Littlehampton is open for business!

On Monday 15 June, Town Mayor Councillor David Chace visited the High Street to speak to many of the traders who were finally able to reopen. In addition to the Documentation Project, the Museum team has been working hard on a new website that will bring the collection closer to you and a range of online resources. Have a look now. 

Have you ever wondered how your Councillor represents your views? Make sure you tune in to one of our live meetings or watch on demand, simply visit our website to see our committee calendar. You can still ask questions by emailing us one clear working day before the meeting. 

West Sussex Library Service has announced drop off slots for people wishing to return items borrowed from the Library. The first slot is Saturday 20 June 10-12pm. See their website for more details.

Persimmons have announced this week that the works on the southern end of the Fitzalan Road link to the Lyminster Bypass will resume from Monday 22 June. More details here.

In addition to the many High Street shops the Friday General Market will be relocated to St Martin’s car park, commencing on Friday 19 June and the Artisan Market will be relocated to the Manor House car park from Saturday 1 August

Scam Awareness 15 - 28 June

This year the focus is on raising awareness of scams that have emerged as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Scams can be difficult to recognise, but there are things you can look out for. You can use the Citizen's Advice online scams helper to get advice that’s specific to your situation. You can also report a scam.
Helpline
You can get advice from a Scams Action adviser by calling 0808 250 5050.
The service is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Calls are free from mobiles and landlines.
