Programming for the exhibition Motherwell. product. placement. was supposed to culminate on March 26th with a talk in the Hanes Gallery (by director and curator of the exhibition, Paul Bright), a reception, and a performance by the musical improvisational group Polyorchard. Those plans, like so many others, were eliminated by COVID-19 precautions and the WFU campus closure.

The talk was to be centered on collage, and how the works in the exhibition locate Motherwell's place in its development and history. The content of the talk was subsequently adapted for a video slideshow/walk-through, the first and second "episodes" of which can be viewed by following the links provided below. We were really looking forward to your presence here in late March, but we hope you enjoy this consolation.
