Dear Valued Aura spa Guests,
We are so excited to be re-opening the doors of our DC locations this morning, and we look forward to the Grand Opening of our new Ballston location. As we abide by the DC Mayors orders and complete the finishing touches at Ballston, we are hard at work deep cleaning and sanitizing the spas to welcome our members, guests, and therapists back.
We appreciate the support of our client’s during this difficult time sending electronic gratuities to your favorite therapists and purchasing retail products through our Spa Managers. It will take us all to work together as we re-open to provide a safe and relaxing environment for everyone at Aura spa.
To reassure and ease our guests minds for a safe transition back into the spa, we have taken the following measures and are providing the following PPE and sanitation procedures:
- Spa Therapists and Guests will be required to sign the Aura spa Covid-19 pledge before returning to the spa.
- Spa Therapists and Guests will be required to have a no-contact temperature check before entering VIDA Fitness & Aura spa.
- Spa Therapists will be provided with reusable face masks, face shields, gloves, aprons, and nail brushes, hand sanitizer and soap.
- Spa guests will be provided with hand sanitizer, soap, face masks (please bring your own, otherwise masks will be provided), shoe covers, and bags to put clothes in during spa sessions.
- Limited appointment times will be available to allow for a 30-minute room turnover to ensure deep sanitation of each room in between clients. Please book at least 24-48 hours in advance.
- Please schedule services with only one service provider per visit due to increased turnover time and lobby room waiting not permitted during re-opening.
- Your spa therapists will greet you outside the VIDA Fitness location you are scheduled at. Please do not arrive more than 10min before your scheduled appointment time.
- Aura spa will close from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm each day for a mid-day total spa sanitation.
- Treatment rooms will be sanitized each night with UV sterilization, and complete spray down with the Tersano cleaning system.
- Upon re-opening we will be operating with limited staff and encourage spa guests to:
- Complete the Covid-19 Pledge before returning to the spa to avoid appointment cancellation upon arrival. (link to pledge below and on email confirmations)
- Complete the Massage or Esthetic intake form if it's your first time Aura spa or a specific location
- Schedule appointments online or with the location Spa Manager via email.
- Provide spa therapists gratuity in Venmo, Cash App or PayPal. No cash will be on hand to provide change and ATM will be out of order. UV Sterilizers will be available for therapists to sanitize cash gratuities.
Please take the time to review the Aura spa Covid-19 Guest Pledge and sign the waiver before we re-open to get a head start on your return back to the spa. Select the location you will be visiting to complete the location-specific form. If you receive services at multiple locations the form will need to be completed for each location.
