While we are thankful that more and more businesses are now open, theatres are among the businesses that have to remain closed until the state moves into phase 5. Currently, all but two regions are in phase 4.
Therefore, the Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts will remain dark to comply with the Governor's orders as we continue to guard the health and safety of our patrons, cast, crew volunteers, and staff. We have, however, been working behind the scenes to prepare for our reopening by following CDC guidelines and best practices for theaters.
Though we have canceled our summer production of The Producers, we plan to stage Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at a later date. We are also seeking alternative dates for Face to Face - Elton John/Billy Joel Tribute and Hotel California - Eagles Tribute.
We appreciate your continued support and patience as we work through this as a community. We look forward to having our family members back in the theater and providing amazing live performances once again!
