Call for Artists for the IOD Calendar
Every year, the UNH Institute on Disability invites artists to submit artwork to be considered for the IOD Calendar. For the past 21 years, we have produced beautiful, full-color calendars featuring 13 original works of art coupled with inspirational quotes. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your talent on a global scale. We invite members of the START Network to share this opportunity with individuals and families that you support.

  • All artwork must be two-dimensional (i.e. drawings, paintings, or photography). Artwork may be created for the purpose of this calendar or may be selected from an existing portfolio of work. Check out last year's selections.
  • Each artist is welcome to submit a maximum of three (3) works of art for consideration using the form below.
  • If selected, artists must agree to the terms of the Artwork Release Form. Unfortunately, we are unable to feature any artwork without the release form. Please be sure you are willing and able to comply with the terms prior to submission.
Submit Artwork for the 2021 Calendar
Submission deadline is Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Selected artists will be notified before September 1, 2020. Finalists will receive five free copies of the calendar and can purchase more at a discount. Thank you in advance for sharing this opportunity with those who may be interested. This past year, one of the works chosen was painted by a member of the START network in North Carolina, Tiffany Copeland. The painting, titled "The Social," is coupled with the following quote by Liz Fosslien and Mollie West Duffy: "Diversity is having a seat at the table, inclusion is having a voice, and belonging is having that voice be heard."
