New Week, Late Start
This is the 4th week of the DCAA Creative Challenge and I am sorry to have to admit I didn't send out the announcement on Saturday. It's been a very troubling time in or Country and our State these past few weeks. Many of us are doing our best to simply cope. Since this notice has gone out a few days late, I decided to add a few days so the deadline for posting your submissions is:
Midnight on June 21st
This week we are going to explore Growth. What does growth in today's world look like to you? Since the original ending to this week's challenge was supposed to be Junteenth (the emancipation holiday), a close look at how you think what is happening in our world will inspire growth would be a wonderful affirmation.
So take a moment in the next few days, find a quiet place to be and meditate on the meaning of Growth in today's world.
The rules are simple; the reward is lots of fun creating and a chance to show your work. Each week a new subject will be announced on Saturday. You will have six days to work on your interpretation of the subject and post it to your Instagram account with the tag:
#DCAACreativeChallenge2020
The winner of the drawing on July 4th will receive a full year membership to Dry Canyon Arts Association.
