Father Figures
What wonderful role models this group of guys are from the Men's Shed. Pictured in the photo these hardworking guys pitched in to help out the city by cleaning up the snow removal dump sight. After the snow piles melted earlier this Spring, a mess of gravel, grit, sand, and trash items were left behind.
"Thank you" to these and other dedicated Men's Shed participants for showing us all the value of community service, and that even one small job can make a big difference. This is one ambitious group of retired men that have a "can do" attitude and together they have made an impact in a number of local volunteer projects. To see what other community improvement projects the Men's Shed group have worked on, or to get involved, visit their website at: https://hopkinsmensshed.org/

1 Year Milestone
Online Registration
It has been one year since online registrations were made available for folks to sign for classes, make technology appointments, attend dining events, and to register for trips. Our online registration portal still remains a resource for seeking out recreational activities now being offered virtually. Check out the online calendar of events for this week, including Chair Yoga, Line Dancing, or try another online fitness class. Best of all, these classes are FREE!
Deb said this about fitness classes:
"During my years working at HAC I hired the exercise instructors and scheduled the classes, but until I retired and started participating in the classes did I really realize what great workouts the fantastic instructors (Janelle, Jessica and Patty) offer. I am so impressed by the quality workouts, instructor preparation, ability to adapt to virtual classes and the dedication to fitness by the HAC members! Everyone is so welcoming and I encourage you to give one of the Zoom classes a try if you have not done so! Great job everyone!" -Deb
