Dear <<First Name>>,

While we can’t run have our usual Virtuosi Series, we’re announcing a brand new initiative streamed to your home featuring professional South Australian musicians from July.

It’s called the the Afternoon Tea concert series and it starts on Wednesday 15 July at 2:30pm with Konstantin Shamray in a solo piano recital.

Next on 22 July is Simon Cobcroft with a solo cello recital and then Charlotte Kelso (mezzo-soprano) with Yundi Yuan (piano) on 29 July.

Each concert is approximately 1 hour long and will be followed by a short Q&A.

The Afternoon Tea concert series is an opportunity for Recitals Australia to provide paid performance opportunities for our professional musicians and continue to provide music through our new digital streaming platform.

View the concerts on our website homepage, Vimeo directly or via Facebook. If the stream is not starting or behaving oddly, please try an alternate link from above or refresh your browser window to give it a kick! Concerts will also be viewable at our website for a period of time after the live performance, so you can both check them out again at your leisure or share them with family and friends!

The concerts are free to watch online, but we'd love your support through a donation which will enable us to continue promoting musician opportunities and these kind of concerts into the future. Donations can be made online at https://recitalsaustralia.org.au/donate.

Detailed program information will be emailed one week ahead of the concert.

Please share this information with your friends.

We also look forward to our Lunch Hour Series program recommencing for Spring on August 5 2020. Full program to be announced in the coming weeks.

Recitals Australia presents the Lunch Hour Series as part of our educational and outreach programs. It aims to support and mentor young emerging artists and provides valuable performance opportunities in front of an audience

The program is entirely supported through donations. We'd appreciate any assistance you can give us, and are happy to discuss a donation on the phone on 08 8236 7488 or you can donate directly online at https://recitalsaustralia.org.au/donate/

The Series culminates in the special Awards Final, which will see eligible musicians from that series compete for individual awards of up to $1000, including the Berenice Harrison Prize.

Supporting South Australian emerging artists and musicians for nearly 50 years, Recitals Australia is entirely run by a volunteer council and relies on donations to support all of our programs. We thank our donors and partners for their support of the 2020 Spring Series: 5MBS Radio, National Trust South Australia, Pilgrim Uniting Church, Musica Viva, ArtFuel by I-Nex and many individual donors and volunteers.

Look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Best wishes.
