Good afternoon,

You may see a slight increase in your monthly direct debts in June, July and August.

To explain this a little further, as nobody likes surprises and we apologise that after rereading the messages, we could have been clearer in our communications back in March.

We announced that we would not be collecting for support for 3 months, being March, April and May, however that we would continue to charge for Managed Services during this period as there are costs to us from 3rd party providers.

To be clear what we mean when we use the term, 'Managed Services' we are referring to:
  • Vigilance security (antivirus) / Managed antivirus
  • Office 365 subscriptions
  • Uptime
  • Quark backup
As you will identify from your bank statement, we made the direct debit collections in April and May for Managed Services only, however as the situation developed so quickly at the end of March, we didn’t have time to amend the direct debit collection. So we took the decision to spread the March Managed Services fee over the months of June, July and August, rather than collect the full amount of the direct debit in March. We did this in the hope that our clients’ financial position will have improved and practices be reopened, which thankfully many are.

I hope you see that we did this with your best interests at heart and confirm that collections will return to your usual rate in September.

I hope the practice is adapting well to the changes and we look forward to supporting you as we all work together through this period.

Best wishes,

Bharat and the team at Microminder.
