What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday July 7, 2020, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour at the secondary entrance site. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete.
Concrete trucks will stage along Eglinton Avenue East, Mount Pleasant Road, and within the work zones. One concrete pump will be set up at the secondary entrance site. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.

• Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

What to Expect
• Noise from construction equipment including concrete trucks and pumps.
• Several trucks entering/exiting the site every hour, as well as trucks staging around work zones.
• Concrete trucks will stage on Eglinton Avenue East, Mount Pleasant Road, and within the work zones.
• Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.
Pedestrian and Traffic Changes
• All pedestrian and traffic routes at Mount Pleasant Station are expected to remain the same.
• Concrete trucks will enter and exit through the secondary entrance site.

• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.

Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
