While COVID-19 has abruptly stopped the global community in its tracks, anti-Black racism has long ravaged the planet. Founded by Wes Hall, Executive Chairman and Founder of Kingsdale Advisors, the objective of The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism and the BlackNorth virtual summit on July 20 is to hold Corporate Canada to account. At the summit, leaders will be asked to sign a CEO pledge and deliver a statement regarding what their organization will do to combat the issue and to make our society at large free from anti-Black systemic racism.
The conversation will focus on issues, challenges and opportunities related to overcoming systemic racism in Canada.
