Hey gang! We've been a fan of LikeLike's gallery curation for ages and they've been killing it with interesting and lively online exhibitions since lockdown. New Texture Tutorial Video

With digital learning being suddenly high profile, we've been doing in-class Texture tutorials for middleschools and have created a fun new tutorial game called DANGER BEACH. The video tutorial focuses on branching narratives and doesn't get into more advanced features like flags and is an easier entry point for middleschoolers.

Texture is great for engaging reluctant writers and videogame fans, so feel free to get in touch if you'd like to discuss using it in your classroom or workshops for adults. We're often happy to do in-person tutorials!

NarraScope 2020 Game Jam

The online narrative games festival included a game jam where people made interactive fiction games with a variety of tools, including one slice of life Texture game by Janos Honkonen called Are You Sure?
