Happy July 4th everyone. I know this year will be different for most of us without the annual fireworks or family get togethers but however your day will look I hope you have a happy one. 

I have a new series on presale this week. Gooseberry Bay will be an open ended series without a predetermined number of issues unlike some series I've launched in the past year where the number of books in the series was set before the first book even published. I really LOVE this series so far and hope everyone will give it a try. The first three books in the series will publish in September, October, and November. There will be new books every few months from this series in 2021.

Fourth of July Party:

Twelve friends gathered to shoot off fireworks on the 4^th of July – each friend brought a different type of firework and a different food to share. One friend got food poisoning and had to leave, one friend was burned during the celebration and was rushed to the hospital, and one friend got engaged under the colorful sky.

Use the clues provided July 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, and 29^th to figure out which friend got food poisoning, which was burned, and which got engaged.
