As the US and other countries across the globe continue to reckon with racism and police brutality, we are committed to exploring race, identity, and racism in the Americas and to continuing to interrogate our own biases. We welcome submissions in the form of opinion pieces, photographs, poetry, and essays that explore issues of race and identity in the Western Hemisphere.

Read our
statement on race and racism and check out this piece about the effects of racial prejudice in the US education system.
In addition to publishing thought-provoking, rigorous research, literature, and opinion pieces, we've had the opportunity to speak with authors, storytellers, entrepreneurs, and leaders across the hemisphere about their work and their vision for the future.

You'll see why we were so excited to talk to them after diving into these interviews!
